 [Gamers With Jobs Press Pass] Purely Perfunctory PS3 Price Point Perspective: A lot of people have said that Sony’s E3 undoing (if, in fact, you agree they were undone) was the price point of their system, or maybe the timing of said announcement. So we have some basis to discuss the claim, I’ve created the following chart, with systems listed in order of their relative price in today’s currency.

[Hellbound Angels] “Girl” Gamers: female gamers don’t all get together, geek out about video games and thank the heavens that there are no boys around to ruin their fun.  The conferences are aimed at learning what girls like and how to make more games that have a wider, cross-over appeal.  They also discuss some quality-of-life issues amongst video game developers that really should be discussed at bigger venues, especially because men actively participate in the same panels.  Who knew that men wanted to spend time with their families, too?

[Revolution.ign.com] IGN: Super Smash Bros. Brawl Preview: Brawl will feature classic, GameCube-style combat -- not Wii-style motion-controlled combat. That means players who prefer to play the game with the traditional control setup can look forward to using the GameCube control-style they're already accustomed to.
