Wiicon > Bubble Bobble Revolution Replacement Present
[GayGamer.net] Those unlucky few who actually purchased the game and were issued replacements, found a little present with their game, a free copy of Rainbow Islands Revolution as a little apology present. Too bad Rainbow Islands is supposed to be as appealing at a dried dog turd baked into the sidewalk.

[Eurogamer.net] Review - Rainbow Islands Revolution // DS /// Eurogamer: Once again starring Bub and Bob (free of the dinosaur curse, it seems), the idea was to work your way up to the top of a vertical-scrolling level avoiding the numerous roaming monsters, zapping them with your rainbow attack and traversing the many platforms - not to mentions the same rainbows that also operated as makeshift platforms. In common with Bubble Bobble, the array of random tat that spewed forth from downed enemies helped players gain temporary power-ups, and part of the fun was finding out what the collectables actually did.
[Ds.ign.com] IGN: Rainbow Islands Revolution Review: As Bobby or Bubby (get it, the human versions of those bubble-blowing dinos), players wander around a vertically scrolling map of platforms taking out enemies with rainbow power. But that's where the similarities end between the original concept and the Nintendo DS version -- the handheld game uses the same maps, enemies, characters, and powers, but turns them all into a touch-screen activated action game.

[Videogames.yahoo.com] Rainbow Islands Revolution - Nintendo DS - Video Game Review ...: Now you'll draw the rainbows, which means that, first, they can be placed anywhere on the touchscreen, and second, that you'll have to stop controlling your movement briefly to attack. Some sort of strategy should be involved in that dual use of the stylus, but in practice you'll more often be frantically swapping the stylus between moving and attacking -- there's not much room for conscious planning.
